1930 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 owned by Mussolini getting restoration

One of Alfa Romeo’s most controversial race cars is obtaining addressed to a comprehensive, concours-stage restoration. Modified, worn-out, and incomplete, this 1930 6C 1750 was ordered new and raced by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.

Carrying chassis variety 6C312898, the 6C 1750 was sent new to Mussolini on January thirteen, 1930, and there are several images (a person pictured) demonstrating him guiding the wheel. He compensated 60,000 Lire for it. He entered it in several races across Italy for the duration of the early 1930s but did not preserve it very long — his well-acknowledged appreciate of Fascism and global invasions seemingly muted the gearhead in him.
