Just a several days in the past, we talked about Manhart’s BMW X5 M tuning venture. It was mean and extremely, extremely potent but honestly, we’ve often been much more amazed by the company’s get the job done on distinct sports cars. And these days, there’s a new and quite capable coupe coming from Manhart.
Good adequate – the BMW M2 CS is already an absolute beast but the specialists take it to another degree with this new deal. Visually, the so-called MH2 GTR displays connections with its motorsport brother, but the structure is complemented by a carbon-fiber wing at the back again and broader carbon-fiber wheel arches. The livery is a mix in between standard BMW M colors and contrasting black or carbon details.
It’s way much more exciting less than the hood while. The 3.-liter inline-6 engine with twin turbochargers has been upgraded to a peak output of 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts) and 612 pound-toes (830 Newton-meters of torque), up significantly from the stock (but already respectable) 450 hp (336 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm). That’s possible many thanks to Manahart’s new turbocharger, intercooler, and carbon intake method.
But that’s not all the things, of class. A wholly new stainless metal exhaust method assures the exhaust gases escape rapidly. The pipes are fitted with 300-mobile catalytic converters and 4 carbon-sheathed 100-mm tailpipes. At last, there’s a personalized engine map controlling the new components and an upgraded transmission that handles all the added oomph.
Manhart has also modified the suspension in cooperation with H&R. There is an in-home produced forged wheel package in matte black with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires in 255/thirty on the steering axle and 295/25 tires at the back again.
Manhart wishes €18,907 for the complete deal, or $22,871 at the current exchange fees.
