New Delhi: The country’s premier carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Monday mentioned its complete output in March elevated to 172,433 units.
Amid the COVID-19 related disruptions, the enterprise experienced developed ninety two,540 units in the exact thirty day period last calendar year, MSI mentioned in a regulatory filing.
“Output in March 2020 experienced declined considerably about the exact time period the preceding calendar year owing to COVID-related disruption. The comparison of March 2021 figures with March 2020 figures has to be viewed in this context,” the enterprise mentioned.
Passenger vehicles output stood at 170,036 units last thirty day period as when compared with 91,602 units in March 2020.
Output of mini cars comprising Alto and S-Presso products had been at 28,519 units last thirty day period as against 17,630 units in the calendar year-back time period.
In the same way, producing of compact cars, comprising WagonR, Celerio, Ignis, Swift, Baleno, Dzire, stood at ninety five,186 units as against 50,078 units in March 2020, MSI mentioned.
Output of utility vehicles Gypsy, Ertiga, S-Cross, Vitara Brezza and XL6 also grew to 32,421 units as when compared to fifteen,203 units in the exact thirty day period last calendar year.
MSI mentioned output of its light-weight business auto Super Carry was at 2,397 units as against 938 units in the calendar year-back thirty day period.
