EV startup Canoo names former diplomat Josette Sheeran as president

DETROIT — Electric powered automobile startup Canoo Inc. on Monday named Josette Sheeran, a former diplomat, as its president.

Sheeran, who joined the Canoo board in December, is the government chairman of the McCain Institute, a Washington feel tank.

Previously, Sheeran served as vice chair of the Earth Financial Discussion board government director of the United Nations Earth Food Software U.S. underneath-secretary for economic, electricity and agricultural affairs underneath President George W. Bush and deputy U.S. trade agent and ambassador masking Asia, Africa, labor, natural environment, intellectual residence, and trade capability building. In 2011, Forbes named her the 30th most powerful girl in the earth.
