But at Swindon, Honda has a generation program that depends on elements arriving exactly when they are required, usually heading immediately from the port to the assembly line in hrs of landing. If just 1 part is missing, generation are not able to continue on.
“This generally has to do with world aspects,” Michael Gove, the Uk government’s minister in charge of Brexit negotiations, explained regarding Honda’s scenario. “Inevitably at this time of 12 months, you get men and women who want to stock up in their warehouses. And I assume that there’ll be different reasons why men and women have been doing that.”
Honda has not presented an update for when Swindon will be back online, but every working day the assembly line is not shifting, the automaker is losing revenue.
