U.K. auto dealership group Pendragon sells last U.S. store

The purchaser of Pendragon’s ultimate U.S. retail store is a refreshing encounter as a dealership proprietor with his individual AutoNation relationship. “We are a new team this is our to start with dealership,” Sudhir Sood, CEO of Redwood Automotive, instructed Automotive News. “But I have a lot of automotive experience.”

Sood said he commenced in the market as a salesman 35 decades ago. Prior to purchasing the Santa Monica retail store, he was standard supervisor at Land Rover Encino, an AutoNation dealership, for the past seven decades, he said. Sood said he worked for AutoNation for about 20 decades right after starting up as a standard supervisor there in 2001.

Sood said he has business enterprise partners but declined to identify them.

“I’ve been related with the JLR products for a prolonged time,” he said. “I know the L.A. market place. I’ve been in L.A. due to the fact 1988.

“Pendragon was offering all their stores, leaving the state, and this was the previous retail store still left. It has a lot of possibility.”
