Honda resumes UK output after global supply delays

LONDON — Honda will restart output at its British factory Thursday just after it was halted for two times due to world-wide source delays, a spokesman explained.

Major automakers operate just-in-time producing, meaning some pieces arrive times before they are fitted to vehicles.

Honda developed just less than 110,000 Civic cars in Swindon in 2019. Honda is closing the plant forever in July as component of a world-wide restructuring.
