New Jaguar Land Rover manager Thierry Bolloré has confirmed that Jaguar will turn out to be an all-electric car model from 2025, as exclusively exposed by Auto Express.
Talking at the announcement of JLR’s ‘Reimagine’ plan, Bolloré confirmed that Jaguar will only build all-electrical cars from 2025 and that JLR would be leaving SUVs to the Land Rover model.
“We want to reposition Jaguar – it will be pretty distinctive,” reported Bolloré. “The SUV will be Land Rover. Jaguar will be unique from Land Rover.”
Jaguar Land Rover Chief Artistic Officer, Gerry McGovern, is becoming tasked with top a group to arrive up with a new design technique for Jaguar, and that will also guide to a choice on system architecture.
